(Right side next to Irene and Darlene on opening day)

Linda heard that Annie was leaving St. Jude School to open a scrapbook store. She asked Annie if she could be a part of the store team. For the last six years, Linda has enjoyed making scrapbooks for her family. She also donates her time and talent to St. Jude School. In fact she prepared two 2 scrapbooks of classroom activities to help raise funds for the St. Jude School. Both books were outstanding favorites at the school auctions. Annie delighted in the fact that Linda could spare some time to work at the store. She knew how busy Linda keeps herself, raising two boys and home-schooling one of them. Kile is home-schooled and is in the 6th grade; Ryan attends St Jude School and is in the 3rd grade. As busy as Linda is she wanted to make time for scrapbooking in her life and what better way as to join the staff of Scrapbook Your Art Out. Linda came aboard during the store set-up phase and even volunteered her husband John, to help us out during the pre-opening rush. Linda enjoys putting together kits for new classes. Linda enjoys scrapbooking and ranks it as her official hobby. Her sister first introduced Linda to scrapbooking, but Linda pooh-poohed the idea thinking scrapbooking too time consuming. Well, then Linda's best girlfriend started to scrapbook, and asked Linda try it once. After Linda put together her first 2-page layout, she was hooked. She loves using her artistic flair to design scrapbook pages.

Linda's major in school was Art, however, a teacher convinced her to go into computers. She now realizes her calling to her artistic nature via scrapbooking. Linda is considering obtaining a degree in Graphic Design. I guess sometimes going the practical route in life, may not always be the best choice. Thank goodness there is always time to follow your hearts desire, to change ,to grow and to develop new careers. Linda is an assistant Cub Master to pack 326. Linda organizes lots of activities, including over-night campouts . Recently trips included the destinations of Nassau and Sea World. (She still need to scrapbook those pictures.) Even seasoned scrapbookers sometime need a little extra time to get going on layouts! You may spot Linda at the scrapbook tables working on projects or teaching classes. Please stop by on Sunday afternoons to meet Linda and sign-up to take her beginning scrapbooking classes.
